Nature's composition of linear and lateral thinkers?

Nature produces many more right-handed people than left-handed people. The ratio is roughly about 80-90% righties to 10-20% lefties. Based on this composition, can I deduce that 80-90% of people tend to use their left brain only while the other 10-20% can think with their left and right brains?

It is logical to think that there should be fewer leaders than followers. I dare to imagine that had the composition of linear and lateral thinkers been skewed in the opposite direction, the world I see today will be very different. There will be much fewer mega structures. There will be much more discoveries and inventions but not enough people to execute and maintain them.
